Default About The Word "ASSume"... (was - What if . . .)

Painius writ large,

To make the challenge clear...

What causes gravity? I.e., precisely what is the way-- the

"mechanism"--by which
that effect called "gravity" or "gravitation" is manifested by either

matter (stars,
planets and such) or by something else,
such as there being some kind of
spatial/gravitational energy that flows
into matter and causes gravity?

Yeah, in the spirit of diplomacy, the "fill in the blank" provision was
always proffered to anyone having a BETTER explanation of that mechansim
whose *effects* are described as "bent space-time" etc.
So again, by its appearance and behavior, most
prominently by its ability to crush massive stars down to a BH and to
power quasars, and per Occams Razor, gravity is exactly what it appears
to be and behaves as. To wit, a pressure-driven, acceleratig flow _of
the spatial medium_ into mass with mass synonymous with flow sink.. by
dint of the medium's pressure-state exceeding degeneracy pressure of the
atomic nucleus. If there is a better explanation of the cause of
gravity, by all means fill in the blank___________ .
