Default Mercury-Atlas correct colors

I'm buying a handcarved wood model of a Mercury-Atlas launch vehicle. The ones
they show on their website are all silver in color, but I wrote to them and
asked if it could be made in proper colors. I've looked at various pictures, and
while I don't need absolute perfection, I want to be sure it's approximately
correct. So, the rocketitself looks to be silver, the capsule black and escape
tower red. Is that about right? I've also see where the capsule is a dark grey,
and the part immediately underneath the capsule is black, with a red band
between the two. And are the fairings that cover the outboard of the three
engines at the base of the rocket silver or painted? Thanks for any help. I want
to be sure to get my moneys worth. I bought a Gemini-Titan from these folks and
while it's nice, it came through white, with "United States" in black and a wide
broken black stripe about two thirds of the way up the rocket. Most pictures
I've seen, the rocket is silver with large areas of black. I did also get a
Mercury Redstone from them and it's pretty much right on the money. Thanks.

It will take a while to download, but here's a huge (7.76 MB) color
photo of a Mercury-Atlas on the launchpad showing everything in detail
as far as color goes:

Great picture. Thanks. I'll downsize it a little and send to the dealer.

One interesting paint idea which I used on my 1/144 model Mercury-Atlas
was to paint the LOX tank exterior with fairly thick white paint to get
the appearance of ice on it like during launch:

That looked good enough that I also used it on the first stages of my
Saturn I and V, as well as my Vostok, Voskhod, and Soyuz boosters.
(That's Glenn's launch BTW. Note that on that particular one the little
door on the side of the adapter between the capsule and the booster
looks like it's silver in color).
