Congress to Keep Funding NASA's Webb Telescope

http://news.sciencemag.org/sciencein...g-nasas-w.html

Congress appears to have preserved funding for the James Webb Space
Telescope. Last night lawmakers from both the House of Representatives
and the Senate issued a final spending bill for NASA and several other
federal agencies that "accommodates cost growth" for the $8.7 billion
telescope. Details are expected later today. But that language is seen
as affirming the Senate's support for the embattled telescope after the
House has eliminated its funding.

You are confusing him with Bush. It is the Republican religious right
wing that want to have astronomy and cosmology stamped out.

Though it is highly unlikely that Dubya could even spell "telescope"
much less say it out loud - far too many syllables.

Obama sure is stupid for a man who has convinced the credulous that he is
smart. I recommend reading his first book, it's window into his
mediocrity.

Mediocrity has to be a step up from total brain dead moron which is what
the current front runners of the GOP Presidential candidates stand for.
One can't even remember his three most important policies (to be fair he
did manage two) and the other could not work out what Libya was.
