Default LockMart adds EADS to CEV Team

According to

Lockheed Martin has added EADS to its CEV-bid
team. This seems to be a major score, because
EADS brings autodocking technology with it -
something Northup Grumman, the other major CEV
bidder, doesn't have.

The addition of a European contractor must be
a plus, because Lockheed recently won the
Prez helicopter bid by serving as the U.S.
front office for the European builders.

Lockheed Martin also has Orbital Sciences,
Hamilton Sustrand, and Honeywell on its team.

Northrup Grumman has only announced Boeing as a
subcontractor so far (which currently is a
liability more than an asset in Govt. bid
competition). Avweek suspects it will announce
a major non-U.S. contractor soon.

How about Chrysler? It built the Saturn I first stage. Now it's part
of Damlier. Its sales are increasing, which proves that it is not a
U.S. manufacturer. ;-)

I'd get Honda or Sony instead, or specifically their robotics
departments.
