A perfect Freudian 69F as of 1 PM and sunny here. Wind 6 mph out of the
usual NW. Chance of northern lights in the forecast for tonight!

A day without art! With all the prep work they did, I thought the Gresham
Arts Festival would have lasted all weekend, but today it is all gone, and
the streets are reopened, and buses are back on their usual routes.

Now that the state has legalized the taking of road kill for consumption, food here is plentiful! The state has effectively given every 18 wheeler driver a license to go for big game!

Currently 79F here at 1:45 PM. Wind out of the west at 6 mph. Could shift to east by tomorrow morning.

Looks as though it is going to remain bone dry here in Gresham for the rest of July. That's just fine with me! Currently 85F as of 2:00 PM. Wind NW at 6 mph.

Expecting Kim to come by in a little while with a bag of Korean delicacies.

Likely fishcakes, squid, kimchi soup, and seaweed soup.

Great with rice!

A cloudy and cool but dry morning here. Currently a perfectly Freudian 69F here as of 11:15 PM. Wind NW at 7 mph.

Multnomah County is considering building a new mega library on Portland's east side. Not sure where they plan on getting the funds. Governor Kate is exploring all possible sources of funds to keep paying the pensions of all the retired state government workers: begging, borrowing, stealing, and selling off state assets! Oregon really isn't that far behind Illinois, financially speaking. My friends who retired from state government jobs are now enjoying luxurious retirements!

80F as of 1:30 PM here in Gresham. Wind NW at 6 mph.

They sure do let a lot of noisily retarded and other congenial idiots into this library. They can be very distracting. I think they must run a special short bus directly from institution directly to this library.

Then there is the free lunch program for kids here. With all the food bank distribution centers around, nobody who is here legally can possibly be hungry.

A summery 78F her as of 12:30 PM. Wind NW at 6 mph.

Took a giant garbage bag full of my high gravity beer cans to the state redemption center. Had to stand in line there more that 30 minutes. The fruits of socialized container returns! Reminds me of the good old days in the Soviet Union when people had to stand in line for everything!

The next bus had already gone by when I was able to leave, so I walked down to the end of the line TriMet MAX station and rode to the Gresham City Hall Station. Just a short walk from there to the library, and I got to check vacant restaurant and commercial space for lease along the way.

A lot of help wanted signs out nowadays. Is it Trump, or just a coincidence? I even am seeing some ads for COBOL programmers. I know that language well, but had thought it was a dead language. If things keep on getting better, I may find it hard to stay retired!
