The only nearby beach that Tri-Met will take me too has little sand, mostly just rocks! But some girls go there. The river has quicksand, but I can't swim anyway. I would have to get special permission from the city of Troutdale to even bring beer. Better stick to the neighborhood bar!

Huntington Beach is all fine white sand.It relates to Revere Beach.Revere Beach would have big waves,but they put in a "break water" huge rocks. At one time Revere Beach was listed with the top 7 best beaches in the world. It still has fine white sand that goes for 15 miles. TreBert

Oregon has fine beaches. Mostly deserted though as I remember them. Nice if you want solitude. But that's probably changed by now with all the Californians that have moved up here!

Can you launch fireworks off your boat safely offshore to put on a display? Sounds like a good plan!
