The only nearby beach that Tri-Met will take me too has little sand, mostly just rocks! But some girls go there. The river has quicksand, but I can't swim anyway. I would have to get special permission from the city of Troutdale to even bring beer. Better stick to the neighborhood bar!

Huntington Beach is all fine white sand.It relates to Revere Beach.Revere Beach would have big waves,but they put in a "break water" huge rocks. At one time Revere Beach was listed with the top 7 best beaches in the world. It still has fine white sand that goes for 15 miles. TreBert

AA Population going down to beaches is less and less each year.Even the surfers are less.During the great depression Revere Beach had over a million on Sat.and Sunday. The population was much less 80 years ago as well. TreBert Nice day not to hot.Good being outdoors.Trebert

Can you launch fireworks off your boat safely offshore to put on a display? Sounds like a good plan!
