Brown Dwarves & Hertzprung-Russel?
Has anybody yet extended the HR diagram to include the recently
enumerated population of brown dwarves? If so, can anybody provide a link to a site that details it? TIA. |

TIA. http://www.astro.uiuc.edu/~kaler/sow/hrd.html among others. Unless you're doing astronomy in middle earth those are called brown dwarfs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwarf indicates that both plurals are acceptable. But LymanAlpha is right: in astronomy, it's "dwarfs." -- Bill Owen |
