High priests in the Einstein cult find it profitable to topple Einstein from time to time. This makes them very popular and brings a lot of money (e.g.. by converting their books into bestsellers). Of course, they never stop singing "Divine Einstein", and this manifestation of split personality (doublethink) is a great source of admiration for the scientific community.
