I have been giggling over the Shenzhou launch, in regard to the spot
light it also casts on the ISS, International Space Station.

Since the ISS is still likely to exclude China, the title
"International" would be an oxymoron and a hypocrisy, regardless of
political and/or security reasons.

Is there any solution to integrate China to preserve the ISS'
legitimicy and still maintain politically correctness?

China has no interest in the expensive useless tarbaby called ISS. They
want to be in complete control of their efforts in space, and they want
those efforts to be productive.

I don't think that China is really interested in joining the ISS
program, because they have their own space station program.

Perharps the thing that China might do is doing a docking procedure on
the ISS, to test if they can indeed dock with a space station.

On ther other hand, Russia might be interested on joining China's
space station program.

Remember that Russia was almost expelled from the ISS program from not
delivering suefficient progress to the ISS program, the Russia
sacrificed MIR so that they can focused on the ISS and also so that
the ISS would be the only manned space station, China's Shen Zhou was
derived from the Soyuz, and so on.

So it probably isn't about who's joining in, but who is going to get
out.

The have's generally do not dictate to the have not's. Currently, the RSA
is the main player while the shuttle is on the bench.

So it probably isn't about who's joining in, but who is going to get
out.
