Very sad news from London -- the closing of a planetarium.

I'd lay odds that behind the door some $$$ ( pounds wise ) where crossing
from one hand to another.

I hope their film dies a horrored death.

The Planetarium itself really closed several years ago when they took out
the projector. They were running a 45 minute show for the last couple of
years, but it was mainly "froth". Some pretty good visuals though, but
little else. My five year old enjoyed it.

Not all bad news though, there is a nice planetarium at the Leicester
Space Centre (UK), I believe Jodrell Bank Observatory still has one
and a new digital planetarium has just opened in Birmingham at the
Millenium Point to name just a few.

Plus the South Downs Planetarium in Chichester, which I really must visit
now I live in Surrey.
