Default the Ha sun today

Nice eruptive prom lasted whole 5m then gone! Also huge filament [prom
on disk] 1/3 solar diam - poorish pics at

Mmm, indeed it is a long filament - see also my pic of spot and filament on
alt.binaries.pictures.astro with a Solarview50

Nice looped prom on west limb today [Monday] @ 9 o'clock [PST inverted
view]; long filament now snakes near horizontal across disk with new
proms on east limb may promise new actively coming around this limb !

Mmm, nice pic. The problem with weekdays however is that I rarely get a
chance to do any solar astronomy due to work. Mind you if the weather was to
snow me in...
