Second-hand telescopes in Melbourne, Australia

Hi all,

I'm looking for a sub-$400 second hand telescope in Melbourne
Australia. The Melbourne Trading Post did not have a lot of choices,
nor does e-bay, does anyone know where else to look?

and he'll find something for sure that fits your needs.

try joining the Astronomical Society of Victoria, many members will upgrade
at some point. There is also the Astronomical Society of Melbourne,
Frankston and Geelong.

otherwise it is just a matter of waiting - like waiting for the next edition
of Sky & Space, which did carry advertisements for second hand scopes, or
waiting for something to come up in the Trading Post
