Houston Mural, "America's Team...Just the Beginning", when he attended the
Greenwich Workshop opening a couple of years ago.

I suspect that that minor technological glitch of the TV
camera getting burned out by the Sun, while not a big
deal for the safety of the crew and science work, was
a bad thing for maintaining public interest in the
Moon missions. People like to see live TV of news
events in progress, and if no video, people lose interest.
