There used to be a box to check on the sign on screen if you wanted
Google to recognize your computer and carry sign ons to more than one
session. By not checking the box, you could have multiple Google
sessions under different sign ons all going at once. You could also
have sessions for searching that were not signed on. Now that box is
gone and signing on in one session causes you to have the same sign on
in all the sessions. There is a new "Stay signed on" box, but it
doesn't seem to do anything.

Is Google run by volunteers? It certainly seems to fucntion like an
amateur run operation.
