A slight increase in the energy of the belts did occur but was disipated over a short period of some 3 or 4 month's time. You claim that there is some permanent damage from the 1958 tests - PROOF????? Please respond 'cause I've studied the entire ARGUS history and aftermath, if you would care to use that term, and have found nothing permanent. Why should I talk to you? You claim to know everything, and to top it off as if being omnipotent, you figure I have no intelligence as in .... Fine... don't talk to him. Talk to the rest of us. We're still waiting for your evidence (read, proof). Remember, he who asserts must prove. |

I also have a very good idea what long term effects that foolhardy experiment will produce. I wanted to see if there is anybody on this newsgroup who has a clue? So far it doesn't look too good. So now that you believe we are all clueless, why don't you enlighten us, o great one? So far all you dimwits did was laugh at the notion of nukes being detonated in the Van Allen Belt region. For your information, the damage done to the Van Allen Belts can't be repaired. Furthermore the damage will result in the complete callapse of the protective shield, allowing very damaging radiation to penetrate to surface of the earth, and ultimately wipe out all life on earth. It is a very sad topic to discuss, and only dumbass evil people would find such a subject "amusing" or a cause/reason to insult someone. All life as we know it is going into a fire, and I don't know about you or anyone else for that matter, but I find this news to be extremely sad. When I first heard of it, all I could do was weep for the human race. So if you like to laugh at this...screw you. Aww poor baby, gots himself another suck poppet to play with. I'm still waiting for him to answer the question I posed on Cepheid variables. My guess is he's just another blowhard, and apart from general knowledge we will get no answers. Anytime anyone asks for specifics, this loser just dodges. What theory? We need new Van Allen Belts? Like who the hell do these
'scientists' think they are, to mess around with earth's protective layer? Scumbags is what they are. Let me guess, a scientist stole your girl/boy-friend? Or maybe you failed your exams, and they wouldn't let you be one? DaveL |
