Progress 15 to Leave Station Wednesday

Expedition 10 Commander Leroy Chiao and Flight Engineer Salizhan Sharipov
closed the hatches between the International Space Station and the Progress
15 cargo ship on Tuesday. The uncrewed Progress will be commanded to undock
from the aft end of the Zvezda Service Module Wednesday to set the stage for
the arrival of a new cargo ship on Christmas Day. Progress will undock at
1:34 p.m. CST (1934 GMT) Wednesday and then be commanded to burn up in
Earth's atmosphere.

Progress 16 and its load of food, fuel, clothing and equipment are scheduled
to launch from Kazakhstan at 4:19 p.m. CST (2219 GMT) Wednesday. It will
dock at 6:04 p.m. CST Saturday (0204 GMT Sunday). NASA TV will provide
coverage of Progress 16's arrival beginning at 5 p.m. CST (2300 GMT).

In other activities Tuesday, the Expedition 10 crew monitored Station
experiments and systems and exercised.
