So going to an asteroid isn't a new idea after all. (L-M's idea for tandem
Orions to go to NEOs made Aviation Week and some other sites)

Considering the very low gravitational pull on Ceres' surface (around 3%
that on Earth's surface), the descent engine and landing pads seem way
oversized.
Hell, at that rate I'd weigh around three pounds and change, and could
probably stand atop a empty beer can without crushing it.

Give us your best shot at whatever's the very best observational
example of what has been seen and/or detected about the worth or
whatever science or ET potential interest of what an asteroid or the
likes of Ceres has to offer? (besides the one-way ticket of our
deploying a couple of dead astronauts)
