SSETI Express not charging...
The student/ESA satellite SSETI Express was put in safe mode after it
showed drop in battery voltage; it seems the solar panels were not charging the batteries. The New Scientist article is at http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn8235 The launcher involved was quire busy with 9 satellites, inclduing the Iranian one, but with Mozhayets-5 appearently not seperating, and SSETI Express experiencing challenges, the success is definitely mixed. /dps |
