Another nice sunny day here in Gresham, and cool as fall days here in Oregon tend to be. Currently 58F as of 12:30 PM. Very calm. Breeze only 2 mph from the west. Humidity 54%. Rain returns tomorrow and is expected to stay around for at least a week! Good thing I now have shoes that don't leak!

Was reading in the DB2 tome this morning that I bought. They gave an example of a COBOL program as a counter example. I was nit picking it, being able to see that it would not run the way the author thought it would. But what the heck. It was only counter example to what much simper DB2 statements could supposedly accomplish. Trouble is, real life problems are seldom as easy to solve as the examples the show you when they are promoting a produce. The Devil is always in the details!

Rain has been coming down all day! Thought I would wait until it stopped to go out, but it hasn't! Now 53F as of 4:45 PM here in Gresham. Wind SW at 9 mph, sometimes gusty. Humidity 92%. Not expecting any sunshine until Monday.

Had a good lunch with Kim yesterday, the last day before the rain became steady.

Strong wind last night! Blew open the lid on a large cooler I have on my patio! Blew down the sunscreen shade the neighbor had hung on is patio! The backyard grass is covered with sprigs and small limbs off the fir trees! But at least it has stopped raining. Wind still gusty at 9 mph out of the SW. Temp as of 2:45 here in Gresham is 60F. Still overcast.
