Over the long haul, I could see this as a possibility. In the short term,
it isn't likely to have much noticable effect.

BULL****! Equilibrium is many cases is reached EXTREMELY slowly. Kind
of strange that an alleged GEOLOGIST doesn't know this. Where is the
equilibrium for the reaction C (graphite) --- C (diamond) at low
pressure? The equilibrium is far towards the graphite at loew
pressure. Does that mean all women's diamonds are going to
instantaneously turn into graphite? I think not.

What you think is of no importance, the facts only matter. Further
you are obviously completely clueless about both the genesis of Carbon
and the hence the making of Oil, Coal & Diamonds.In this light I will
give you a little indication from the True Geology : Kimberlite pipes
are ALWAYS located close to Bolides or Meteorites swarm impacts !
By the way the diamonds values is none in my book, considering indeed
