Notice the words "observation" and "experiment" are really important... and the only instance of the word "guess" is actually "educated guess", when applied to an hypothesis. I'll say it again, there is place for 'guessing' in the formulation of scientific theories, never was and never will be. |

Once you get to the theory and fact stage of science you are done with guessing. |
