It's about time someone who ought to know better spoke up about the SLS
debacle.

Uh, no, it is about seven years too late. Where was Mr. Kraft when
NASA was bungling billions on the even more expensive, even harder to
justifty Ares I / Ares V tandem?

Far too late now.

True. Now it's just a question of how much money can pi$$ away before
the program is finally put out of its misery.

Either that or SLS will become the human spaceflight program, like
shuttle was before it had a destination (Mir then ISS). You know, lots
of short up and down flights to uninspiring locations because we won't
be able to fund anything as ambitious as a lunar or Mars lander with SLS
sucking up all of the funding. :-P
