In connection with the 97th Anniversary of birthday of Academician Sergey Pavlovich Korolev, the outstanding scientist, organizer and founder of practical cosmonautics, General Designer of space-rocket systems, founder of Rocket & Space Corporation Energia, the solemn ceremonies organized by the science City's Administration together with RSC Energia's Management were held on the premises of enterprise in Korolev science City and in Moscow.


In the RSC Energia's museum the ceremony of awarding of laureates and participants of the City's competition of young scientists and specialists from space enterprises, which compete for the premium of Academician S.P. Korolev for 2003 founded by the Administration of Korolev City was held.
Premiums, memorable certificates and medals of competition laureates were awarded to the young employees of Corporation: O.K. Kichigina (the 1st on the list) and A.V. Nikolaev (the 3rd on the list) and the employee of Tactical Missiles & Rocketry Corporation (the 2nd on the list). The incentive bonuses were also awarded to E.V. Chertovskikh, the young employee of RSC Energia ZEM and the RSC Energia young author's group consisting of: O.N. Boronin and E.V. Kabanov. The other active participants of competiti
on including the representatives of RSC Energia, ZEM and FGUP NPO IT were awarded with the diplomas of the Head of City and valuable presents.
A.F. Morozenko, the Head of Administration of Korolev City; A.F. Strekalov, the First Vice-president of RSC Energia, Director of ZEM; Natalia Sergeevna, the daughter of Sergey Pavlovich Korolev; V.M. Baranov, Deputy of Moscow region duma; V.V. Aksenov, space pilot, doubly Hero of the Soviet Union congratulated the winners and participants of competition and wished them further success.
Consequently, the Heads and representatives of RSC Energia staff, Administration and people of Korolev City; Corporation veterans; relatives and team-mates of Sergey Pavlovich laid the flowers on the memorials and monuments of outstanding scientist and designer located within the Corporation and Korolev City area, as well as on the Cosmonaut's Alley in Moscow. The flowers were laid on the S.P. Korolev's disposal site near the Kremlin Wall.
