Could you possibly have been more stupid than to crosspost 56k of intentionally off topic bull****? You have worked so hard and have finally completely succeeded in trashing complexity science and you have shredded yourself for all the world to see. You could just as well have ****ed on yourself in public and proudly pointed this out to everyone passing you by. Because we are passing you by. Yes, providing a link in this case wouldn't be prudent~ Do you know a quarter of the world lives as slaves under the thumb of a dozen people! ONE FOURTH of the world! One DOZEN people! The Chinese Communist Party must fall. I intend to see it happen in or around the '08 Beijing Olympics. That event is what complexity science calls a ...critical point. A point of maximum sensitivity. And in a system as large and rigid as the CCP, such a critical point presents a massive house of cards but a little kick in just the right place will bring ...tumbling down. Remember what Janet and Justin did recently? That is a critical point, a single act or even a single word creates a non-linear cascading transient that effects everyone at once. Our natural system of democracy benefits from such perturbations. But a rigid dictatorship explodes into a million little shards. Crash! Janet and Justin showed the world what modern poetry is all about. How to establish a self-organizing system that forces the issue at hand to /evolve/. And all by itself. And with but a single and pedestrian symbolic act. It's not just what you do, it's when and where you do it. If you know how to recognize when a system is at it's maximum level of stress, a single person, a single word, a single act ....can change the world. You have no idea just how 'untouched' the world is by the new ideas of complexity science. Could you possibly have been more stupid than to crosspost 56k of intentionally off topic bull****? You have worked so hard and have finally completely succeeded in trashing complexity science and you have shredded yourself for all the world to see. Stafford Beer (Cyberneticist) says the problem with the current world governments is that they are unable to respond well to the diverse feedback of all the people in society. Rigid govts can't respond well. A functioning democracy does just fine imo. In China the stress is easy to see building. With the extremely rigid political structure and capitalism coexisting, the interests of the adaptive half drifts over time while the rigid govt does not. So the stress inevitably builds over time. By the time the Olympics come around that system will be stretched tighter than a drum, the reds will be paranoid and ultra reactionary. They will let nothing rain on their parade. Their over reaction will be the source of the collapse. Such an immune response to the smallest 'disease' sets off an equal and opposite reaction from the adaptive, more resilient, and monied half. Their only alternative at this point is to give in to democracy. Either way their epitaph is written. See his book, "Platform for Change." Right up your alley. You do want change, right? Hey, did you see this? http://news.com.com/2100-1028_3-5172948.html The FBI wants all of broadband - cable & DSL - redesigned solely for the purpose of them snooping on it. Ashcroft is on a mission from God. Don't worry, Bush is going to lose the election. The Saudis are running up the price of gas just to be sure. Payback's a bitch aint it? This is a summer to play it safe with any investments. Once the election is over the markets will fly again. Oh, look, the request is before the FCC, of JJ breast fame. # The importance and the urgency of this # task cannot be overstated," says the proposal The FBI tried the same thing a few years ago with the Communication Decency Act. Did you know that they briefly outlawed all adult speech on the internet? A four letter word was an act of child abuse and punishable as a felony. It passed Congress with no debate and only 17 no votes. But the Supreme Court had another opinion, and when they rendered it the internet was given, for all time, First Amendment protection. That reactionary law spread the First Amendment to half the world. Trust in nature, these fascist diseases only end up providing us all with immunity. BTW, don't make such long posts to Usenet, or you'll be seen as a Kook for good reason. Being seen as a kook has certain advantages. As does breaking certain rules. The more certain they are, the more they deserve to be broken. This is Usenet, the realm of Pure Thought, there should be no rules or reticence at all and I intend to continue living by that axiom. There is a one-world government in our future, that is not a source of worry but of joy, for that government will be the internet. And the rulers will be the people. singin~ "Our future's so bright...we gotta wear shades!"
