Are there any stars visible from the southern hemisphere (Fremantle,
Western Australia) that have been identified as having extrasolar
planets in orbit around them?

Yes, there are. When i Googled "extrasolar planets" "southern
hemisphere," i got over 1,500 hits, some of them very interesting.
