NASA ANNOUNCES STATION SPACEWALK BRIEFING AND TV COVERAGE

NASA is previewing the next spacewalk by the International Space
Station Expedition 12 crew at 2 p.m. EST, Friday, Jan. 27 from NASA's
Johnson Space Center, Houston. The event airs live on NASA TV with
questions from media at participating agency locations.

The spacewalk by station Commander Bill McArthur and Flight Engineer
Valery Tokarev is Feb. 3. It airs live on NASA TV with coverage
starting at 4:30 p.m. EST. The six-hour spacewalk starts at 5:20 p.m.
EST.

Media briefing participants:

-- Kirk Shireman, deputy station program manager
-- Kwatsi Alibaruho, extra-vehicular activity flight director
-- Anna Jarvis, Expedition 12 extra-vehicular activity officer
-- Julie Robinson, deputy station program scientist

NASA TV's Public, Education and Media channels are available on an
MPEG-2 digital C-band signal accessed via satellite AMC-6, at 72
degrees west longitude, transponder 17C, 4040 MHz, vertical
polarization. In Alaska and Hawaii, they're on AMC-7 at 137 degrees
west longitude, transponder 18C, at 4060 MHz, horizontal
