Not counting sunspots, has the intensity of the sun's magnetic field ever
been measured?

Yes. 10^-4 tesla.

Seriously?

Zeeman splitting in spectroscopy is one highly accurate method that
has been done for decades.

Yes. *10^-4 tesla.

Is that 1e4 tesla per square meter?

0.0001 tesla = 0.0001 weber / m^2

weber: SI unit of magnetic flux; tesla: SI unit of magnetic flux density.

Johan E. Mebius

So, what's the surface magnetic flux/m2 (tesla, weber or gauss) of our
sun?

So, what's the average surface magnetic flux/m2 (tesla, weber or
gauss) of our
sun?

Regarding our sun, why is there any difference between scientific
methods?

Shouldn't all methods of science be at least within +/- 10%?
