You and Twitty should get together and write a book. You a mountain

Be sure to time your move so you can snag those empty beer
bottles and get in on some of that fat, empty bottle cash.

AA scored $5.40 the other day!

Trying to keep busy so I don;t go crazy.

A cold I caught off the keyboards here at the library and stormy
weather kept me lying low for the las couple datys. The weather was
actually not as bad as predicted, and a Safeway generic cold medicine
taking at twice the directed dose knocked the cold in the head! An
old lady sat down and started talking to me last night with a lot of
witty riddles. As she left, I told her I hoped it didn't rain on
her. She replied, "The good thing about rain is that you don't have
to shovel it!"

49F here under cloudy skies, but with an occasional sun break. Some
rain this morning, but dry this afternoon, though still a 7 mph wind
with higher gusts. Humidity 56%. Tomorrow is forecast to be more
sunny.

Today is my SS payday, so I funded a dinner from the Thai Orchid
Restaraunt just across the parking lot from where we sit. My dish had
steak, vegetables, and of course bean sprouts. Seems all their dishes
have those. Don't ask me what it's called. All the names are Thai.

Yesterday morning when I walked into Starbucks at 3:30 AM, Asst mgr
Ramona greated me with .50 caffee, and gave me a free bag with a big
blueberry muffin, and a couple of Starbucks cream pies! Then she came
over and offered to dispose of my trash, and gave me a free yogart
with strawberries and nut topping. Later she gave the same pastries
to Kim!

Glad the cops are being nice to you. A lot of Washington County
Sheriff's Deputies come into Starbucks early in the morning. They
never bother me. We have an Indian gambling casino about 70 miles
down Pacific Highway from here called Spirit Mountain.

http://spiritmountain.com/

I never stopped there, but my ex-wife tried her luck there a few
times. Trouble is she never had much luck at gambling.

No, Fido ate all the scraps and crumbs thrown out for the birds, while
its owner, the dog man, stood looking the other way, trying to balance
a frisby on his finger. Made me fantasize about contacting an ex-
coworker's ruffian friends who were capable of taking annoying dogs
for long one-way rides in the country!

47F, mostly cloudy, wind W at 6 mph, humidity 61% here in the Tualatin
Valley. Was 30F with ice on the footbridge this morning. Expect more
rain tomorrow.

A monthly bus pass is nice, but you have to learn to be punctual.
That never was my strong suit. Mised two busses yesterday, and then
got my feet wet walking when a rain storm hit. Not raining so far
today.

Weather has been pleasant so far today, but storm is predicted.
Currently 48F at 3:25 PM. Cloudy, wind S at 9 mph, humidity 63%, and
three days of rain in the forecast.

Yesterday while riding the bus back from the library, a wheelchair
hydrolic ramp on the bus got stuck after a guy in a wheelchair got
off. If the bus driver could n't get the ramp to come back up, he
would have had to call for someone to come out and repair it, and we
would have all been waiting for another bus! The driver asked if I
could help. So I ripped open my shirt revealing the big red "S", went
outside and pushed the ramp back into place using my super muscles!
Yes, another day saved by Super Double-A!

Starbucks was packed with people this morning! Some kind of holiday
or something? On the contrary, there were plenty of computers
available at the library today, as opposed to yesterday when they were
all being used when I first arrived.

One of those days when the weather changes every five minutes! Wind,
rain, snow, and sunshine! We've had it all this morning. The West
Hills between here and Portland are white with snow. Currently 39F
here in Beaverton/Hillsboro. Wind SW at 15 mph, humidity 87%, and
rain every 5 minutes with some snowflakes mixed in. Snow level about
1000 feet. We are below that here.

Kim told me they were selling unbrellas at the Chevron Jackson's store
for $4.99, so I rushed over and picked one up. Got the last black
one. They are going fast! My old umbrella has been completely
demolished. The lady at Jackson's said they have a lifetime
warranty. I saiid, the lifetime of an umbrella around here isn't
long.

One more day of snowshowers in the forecast.

Had chicken, kimchee, rice, and tortilla chips again today for
lunch.
