Default Celestrons "The Sky" software program

I purchased a telescope and with it came the software program "The
Sky"-Level One. What basically is this? Is it worthwhile and how will it
help me? Thanks

john

It should prove quite useful for simulating the night sky (what's visible
and where) and generating finder charts for use in the field.

Very useful! I''ve been using it for the past week, and it has really
helped me understand critical concepts in understanding how to locate stars,
and other objects. To speed up the learning process goto HELP, Astronomy
Turtorial. Open each book and try the demon"star"ations. It took me about 3
hours to complete the entire tutorial. You'll feel like an expert
afterwards, and you'll definitely know you've learned something, when you go
outside, and have no problems aligning your new scope!
