...What? She spanked you for using the "C-Word"(*) too? :-)

Only when applied to males, though.

My objection isn't to the word itself but to turning female attributes
into epithets applied to men. The implication that the worst thing
you can accuse a man of is being like a woman, more specifically like
a woman's sexual anatomy, just bugs the hell out of me.

(*) I *still* maintain that the use was at least accurate in
describing the "person" it was being applied to :-P

Surely English has enough descriptive power that an accurate
description without using that term is possible? I find it hard to
believe that your powers of invective are so limited, OM.

Silver Orb: now you've done it. Those who plot the Sacred Mask of
Huitzilokanbochan are forever accursed.

I think I'll go change the name. "Silver Orb" is just so insipid
compared to "Sacred Mask of Huitzilokanbochan" that it cries out for
correction.

Of course, what we all
know will happen is that they'll charge $99 for the prototyper, and
$500/lb for the refills, thus keeping with the standard marketing
gimmick of giving away the hardware and raping your wallet for the
consumables.

Old Man Gillette (not Penn) was an early adopter. Sell razors cheap,
make money on the blades.

Standard Oil, which sold lamp oil, gave away oil lamps for free in
China. John D. Rockefeller knew how to make money.

I grew up with seven food groups, which are sugar, salt, fat,
caffeine, alcohol, dark chocolate, and white chocolate.

I've been malnourished, then. My wife is at the grocery, I should call her
and have her stock up!

Why, now dark chocolate is a health food!

She shoots, she makes a basket (because "scores" has certain connotations)!

Done! Thanks. I have a lot of trouble with naming my fractals.

When asked for advice on how a young man could succeed in business, John
D. Rockefeller replied:
"Always get to work early.
Always stay at work late.
Discover oil."

I guess that's what makes a.u.e so much fun.

Or maybe James doesn't even know he's doing it, he's used it
som....which would parallel OM.
