Stone the flamin' crows cobber! Don't give it away or they'll start
wanting our *good* stuff! Streuth!

By the way Pat - I've got a request. Find a graduate student majoring
in CGI animation and give him one of your dreams to animate for a
project. I've gotta *see* this stuff you're dreaming up. :-)

Chateau Cardboard

"Chateau"

Doesn't that mean 'cat's water'?

Having been a staff member of a male cat, I can guarantee you it's
sharper than normal wine...

Yikes! I am glad I don't wear your brain to bed. I would be
afraid to fall asleep. Hell, at my age, I am lucky to remember
any of my dreams. You seem to have full length motion pictures.

They do tend to be involved; but not particularly scary, as I am
basically immortal in them (except for the ones with Ann-Margret and
Kate Bush...in those I am basically immoral). Remember the old urban
legend about if you are having a dream where you're falling- and you
hit the ground- you will die in your sleep? Been there, done that- all
you have to do is swan dive through the Earth's crust and go swimming
around with the magma monsters down near the core; they are pleasant,
and the molten nickel-iron is warm and cozy like a hot tub.

I'm hoping it isn't a problem with the software they wrote and uploaded
to the spacecraft as it was on its way to Mars, as was discussed in the
Nova special on the landers. If that's the case, then Opportunity may
have the same problem- and NASA will have to explain why they launched
without a full set of tested software on board...which won't look good
at all.

Try Broken Hill Lager sometime... you'll think Foster's is ambrosia. Me,
I'll stick to Guinness.

Just look at some Hieronymus Bosch and Salvador Dali paintings- that's
about what they look like.

I am hoping it is software and MER-B has the same problem. Easier to
troubleshoot if you can duplicate the problem.

If it is hardware, MER-A is a goner..
