You want to talk about a real issue concerning Wal Mart? Try looking up where they get their meat. You won't find it, why? Because they have spent millions with lobbyists in Washington to kill the COOL bill (Country Of Origin Label) . This would require all retailers to identify the country of origin on ALL meat products.

PS Now they are going with USDA Choice cuts to recapture all the business they lost with the dog food they were selling. Once again, where it's coming from is anyones guess but this will totally change the meat market place.

$12.00- $10.00 = $2.00

As far as Walmart is concerned it's not just about them. By killing the bill EVERY meat retailer does not have to show country of origin.

You should know better that when you consume LARGE quantities of MEAT it's important to know where its been or you might catch something. Just reflect on your Nam days.....

I like the Walmart Neighborhood Groery they opened next to my locker. I just boght a broom there for $1.48 that is the same broom they sell at Rigt Aid for $9.99! At Safeway they throw in a dust pan with the broom for $9.99, but I bought the dust pan at Walmart for $0.97! Not every item is a bargan, but they are there! The best thing I like about Walmart is that they don't require you to show a store card! At Safeway it has gotten to the point where you pay more if you don't use their online coupon system. Once again, the poor and computer illiterate pay more!

This morning I had an 8-piece chicken at Walmart for $5.48! At Safeway they would want $8.99. True I don't know where the chicken came from. I sure hope it didn't come from anywhre Hagar has been around!
