The "Closest-Ever Mars" Hysteria-Hype

Now, that last aerospace engineering report, I'm trying to remember, it said that either 80% or 90% of engineers would not want their kids to be engineers. Did they cite any reasons? Did they cite any reasons? Frankly, I don't recall anything very profound there. Sorry, didn't have time to look up the actual report but I can probably dig up a reference to it. I think it was also part of the editorial in AIAA Aerospace America. (Although being an engineer myself, I can guess.) Should be obvious to the casual observer. ;-) There's a reason for the First Law: --------- Beady's 1st Law of Social Harmonics: "Never let the designer write the user's manual." |

What's wrong with engineering? It is a good paying job and a lot more
interesting than digging ditches or selling or a lot of other things. I am retired but was in the engineering field for most of my life. I really can't complain. Every job has things to bitch about, but all in all it is a good profession. -- Ted Remove "spam" from address to email me. "John Beaderstadt" wrote in message ...
