Is the universe a dodecahedron?
No, it's not a joke...
See http://physicsweb.org/article/news/7/10/5 Just one sentence "space consists of 12 curved pentagons joined together in a sphere". Cosmology is becoming more and more like mad science fiction. I can't stand to leave in a dodecahedron, I even prefer big bang theory... Luigi Caselli |

Luigi Caselli The universe model is a Taiwanese taxi, the bodyshell is still there, but there's lots of dents and repairs, and so many lights and horns and bells and chrome have been added that it looks pretty from a distance but you wouldn't travel in it if you had a choice. I suspect that a few serious physicists secretly feel the same, but don't dare admit it for fear of becoming outcasts. Of course, I don't believe quantum theory either, so what the hell do I know!
