Default ASTRO: A pile of galaxies

This is from the AP155EDF f/7 with the Proline 39KM camera

The image is made from 37 x 15 minutes with no filter

http://www.narrowbandimaging.com/leo...l39km_page.htm

If you look at the full resolution image (~32.5mpixels), you can see loads
of background galaxies

That went nice and deep. Full image is great. I suppose after 9+ hours
it should. You picked up the tidal arm of the "Hamburger" and M66 that
aren't picked up all that often. Now for color data.

Richard,

great picture, this combination of wide field and detail is unique.
And you didn't scrimp on exposure time.
