Default ToV from the Chesapeake Bay

No one will be surprised to learn that Maryland skies never fully
cleared during the transit. Nonetheless, my wife and I got a number of
photos during a hazy and only partly cloudy period between 1945 and
2015 EDT.

We were looking westward across the Chesapeake Bay from Matapeake State
Park, Kent Island, Maryland, just a few km south of eastern terminus of
the Bay Bridge.

For those who may be interested, our photos are at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/primeval/. More to come later.

The transit was the 30th birthday party for my 89mm Questar Duplex,
which I purchased new in July, 1982. Other equipment was a Canon 60Da
and a MacBook Pro running Canon's capture software, Aperture, and
Photoshop CS5.

Nice images. I'm still trying to locate some video work done from your area
(or the general Northeast) showing how the transit progressed. Guess it
will be a difficult find with all the clouds. Bill
