Default UFO question

I watched the first show of it when it was shown on NBC, and it made me
sick, noting but sope opera writers junk. I made note then that I will stick
to the old and true Battlestar Galactica.

There are those who believe that life here, began out there, far across the
universe, with tribes of humans, who may have been the forefathers of the
Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that they may yet be
brothers of man, who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the
heavens.

Starlord,

The "New" Battlestar Galactica does not contain the quote nor the old
music

Even in Sci-Fi shows they know better than to do a 90deg turn, turning
ankind of mass in that kind of turn even with some kind of dampers, would
burn them out as the forward push would be overwelming. Even in Babylon 5
they never had any ship move like that, even the First Ones still obayed the
laws of movement.

Anyone with similiar observations ?

Long, long ago I took a long, daytime walk. Upon reaching a park I
laid on my back and looked skyward. Shortly thereafter I noted a
tiny, bright, white point of light in the sky. It seemed to remain
motionless.

On my way home I stopped for occasional glimpses at the object, hoping
it would still be there when I arrived home -- where a telescope was
awaiting.

I arrived home, set up my 60mm refractor, and trained it on the white
point of light. In the eyepiece, in sharp, crisp focus was an upside
down (inverted telescopic image), tear-drop shaped, silvery balloon
with its attached instrument package.

I wonder if there is a website like "Heaven's above" that gives real-
time tracking information for the weather and scientific balloons.
That could be a fun, *daytime*, reason to drag the scope out. I think
I'll l see what I can dig up.
