Default What Irony!

This is perhaps the finest ever picture capture of an occultation simply
because..it's Mars. It could be Saturn or Jupiter but somehow the mystic
surrounding Mars makes it all the more something to ponder.

In this case, Mars actually looks like some wierd one eyed (cycloptic)
Martian with "the eye of Mars" staring coldly at Earth!

The image must be at least 300 X's magnification.

According to Mick :
This is perhaps the finest ever picture capture of an occultation
simply because..it's Mars. It could be Saturn or Jupiter but somehow
the mystic surrounding Mars makes it all the more something to ponder.

Incredible! Ron Dantowitz pioneered this sort of thing and continues to
stay at the head of the pack.

Sometimes I wish guys would just do a search before posting

Don't need one..it has no caption. You have to have a caption otherwise some
may think it's a rigged photo...but, the high res one is better no doubt...

Some will anyway: Why not fake a caption, too?
