It is not quite the orderly universe of Isaac Newton and the
pulpit pounding preachers.

Now if it were a bit bigger and aimed at the local production
(nuclear) reactor things would be quite deadly.
The Russian city mentioned was in 'the
day', a Soviet equivalent to either Richland, US-WA or
Los Alamos, US-NM.

At least it didn't happen in Australia, where authorities would have a
knee-jerk response to this exceedingly rare event that required
buildings to protect occupants against such occurences.

Meteor sparks rumors, conspiracy theories in Russia:

"The meteor that tore across the skies over Russia's
Chelyabinsk region early Friday led some suspicious
Russians to conclude that it was a stealth military
attack by either the U.S. or China, while others
believed the end of the world was nigh, according to
published reports."

Naw, it's the angry largely sterile Nazi Germans from their far side of
the moon moonbase Beta. You know the folks the fly the saucers and
had the base in Antarctica at least until Americans dropped their
third atomic bomb on the base entrance. Some survived in a lunar lava cave
and sealed green house base complex. The Americans missed the submerged
base off of South America constructed by the fifth column forces in Brazil,
Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina in 1942. It's code name was Columbus.
The towers air brushed out farside NASA telemetry of the moon
were Telsa type defensive towers capable of nasty EMP pulses
plus they provide magnetic shielding at other times from energetic particles.
This was a show of force to Putin, as they are exacting tribune
from the Russians. Where do think all the monies Putin has taken
gone? And Bernie Madoff scheme in the USA, it was a Nazi tribute operation.

breath taking isn't it.................Trig

The Techa river would a perfect spot for Mcdelete's retirement home.
That's one the 'places' the Soviets dumped their plutonium production
related waste. The Techa flows in the south of Urals. Now
look up the Mayak Production Association.

Imagine how a moderately small meteor blast could spread rad waste.
Meaning it doesn't need to hit a working reactor for things to get interesting.
Hit a contaminated Russian pond, a leaking rad waste tank in Hanford,
or a defunct leaking Japanese nuclear park and the game is on.

Imagine what would happen in environment without an atmosphere
to keep the small rocks from impacting. An minimally shielded
reactor with a closed loop as cooling system could lose coolant
and badly contaminant a region of an off earth colony. Depending
on design of course.

Found the spot Mcdelete deserves................Trig

Scientists Figured Out Where That Russian Meteor Came From:

"On February 15th, a meteor shook Russia
as it entered the Earth's atmosphere above
the Urals. Now, scientists believe they
know where in the universe it came from."
