... Bert, take a deep breath, hold your nose, go here- www.google.com and type in 'natural laser'. Bert, I know you are not a Googler so here's one snippet from the search results of 'natural laser': ---------------- 8/29/95: Scientists Discover First Natural Laser in Space Don Savage Headquarters, Washington, DC August 29, 1995 (Phone: 202/358-1547) Diane Farrar Ames Research Center, Mountain View, CA (Phone: 415/604-3934) RELEASE: 95-148 SCIENTISTS DISCOVER FIRST NATURAL LASER IN SPACE The first "natural" laser in space was detected by scientists on board NASA's Kuiper Airborne Observatory (KAO) as they trained the aircraft's infrared telescope on a young, very hot, luminous star in the constellation Cygnus. etc... --------------------------------- Sally |

Hi Sally and oc Well I stand corrected if that light is truly
amplified by a laser. I don't have egg on my face for I claimed nature must be using a laser(yes). Still I 'm glad that I said I did not know where nature was using laser light. It is a gas laser so that means it is continuos. Can I safely say "Nature has not created a pulse laser?" Please don't bring in a neutron star(pulsing) Bert |
