When you electrolyze water, you get bubbles. When you have bubble in
a circulating system in 0G (or even in 1G) some of them are going to
end up where you don't expect them.

Which is why lack of information on how Elektron extracts those bubbles from
the electrolysis chamber prevents hard/wild accusations about safety of the
unit in the current state.

If the ultimate bad day occurs, caused by any of a long list of troubles, I
wonder what the safety board will have to say about all of this?

Espically in lught of columbia, perhaps a wake up call ignored?

Something like that might kill manned space for many lifetimes

Which matters how, when the current discussion isn't about the safety
of the units?

The worst case scenario is the the current crew returns and is
not replaced.

NO!!!! NO !!!! NO!!!

The worst case is a accident kills either the current or replacement crew and
the uncontrollable station comes down on someones head, perhaps wiping out a
school or something similiar...

Now THAT will be the pernanent end of nasa andf manned space for generations
HAVE A GREAT DAY!
