Default How big of a Space Ship is Needed?

To get to stars 10 LYs away .It needs lots of water and food.It needs a big crew.How long can you safely recycle stuff?Will microbes take over in say 5 years? Will it create tension? With tension there would be mutany.Ooops just thought of great novel Space ship called the Ark,so its "Mutany on the Ark" I like it all ready Bert

Many of these difficulties could be got around by freezing the crew for the duration of the voyage, and then thawing and reviving them when the destination has been reached. This could be done by the AI pilot. Trust HAL!
