So maybe we should just forget about elections altogether and just give the position to the guy who raises the most money. Gee, that would be the most realistic scenario, one in which a candidate buys his was to power...

Your comment makes no sense. It is a strawman argument. The candidate who spends the most does not always win:

Learn some logic, palsing.

Learn to recognize sarcastic comments, Snell...

I did recognize some sarcasm in your reply to my comment, and I provided a reasonable response to it. Strawman arguments such as yours are commonly sarcastic.

Learn to use: "/begin sarcasm ..... /end sarcasm "

Also learn that free speech isn't simply about speaking and that free press isn't just about printed matter. Learn that restricting political expression, especially prior to an election, is a very dangerous thing.

I made no argument, I clearly started with "so maybe..."

Irrelevant.

I must add, however, that I think these super PACs are essentially criminal...

Unions + liberals = criminals.... Check!

You were repeating yourself, ugharoller.

If you say a lie often enough it becomes the truth, eh?

What lie? Care to point it out without deleting? Where is there a lie in the following that I posted??:

"Billionaire Warren Buffett has long resisted calls to throw his massive wealth behind a campaign and even eschewed public rallies that would lend his vaunted reputation to a candidate. "He's always considered elections important," said Paul Landow, a political science professor at the University of Nebraska, Omaha, who has worked as a U.S. congressional aide, a state party leader and as chief of staff to the city's mayor. "But this year he really wants Hillary to win."

"Buffett started shifting his allegiance to Democrats decades ago. He has become more active as the Republican Party moved further to the right, according to a person familiar with his thinking"

"She has a vision for America that's very similar to mine in terms of everybody being included in the prosperity we enjoy."

So if we vote for Hillary, she will make us all just as prosperous as Buffett? Sounds like another lie.

Why do you have to call people names, that is so 2nd grade childish. What I posted was an opinion, not lie. It was not even my opinion (hint it was in quotes).
Here it is again: "The events this week in Omaha are the culmination of a long evolution for the billionaire. The son of a Republican U.S. congressman, Buffett started shifting his allegiance to Democrats decades ago. He has become more active as the Republican Party moved further to the right, according to a person familiar with his thinking who asked not to be identified to protect their relationship."

I see that you cannot differentiate between opinion and lie. What you are doing and have done to everyone here is psychological projection. That, in my opinion, is a very right wing characteristic. You are a poor role model for conservatives. Nobody is buying your way.

It was still a lie, birdbrain, even if you are just parroting it.

To suggest that Hillary can "include" us all in the prosperity that she and Buffett enjoy is clearly ridiculous.

You should stop quoting lies, half-truths and other misleading statements, birdbrain.

Well, anyone can cut things out of context and make any kind of judgment about it. The entire context is:
The events this week in Omaha are the culmination of a long evolution for the billionaire (FACT.) The son of a Republican U.S. congressman, Buffett started shifting his allegiance to Democrats decades ago (FACT). He has become more active as the Republican Party moved further to the right (FACT), according to a person familiar with his thinking who asked not to be identified to protect their relationship (FACT)

It's no wonder you are so upside down in your thinking. You can't separate fact from fiction.

I don't quote lies, I quote opinions. That is the opinion of Warren Buffett.. He couldn't care less if you don't share his opinion. It's still a free country, why would you tell people to stop having opinions? I thought you were all about freedom of speech. By the way, how old were you when your mother dropped you on your head? LOOK Squirrel!
