Your definition of political correctness must be very weird. Are you aware that you're talking about a man who won the Nobel Peace Prize? But perhaps you think peace is bad... The peace prize has been given to many wonderful people. However, there are some that could be described as very strange. The one that comes to my mind is Henry Kissinger. (Lê Đức Thọ refused the prize.) http://www.richardfisher.com |

The concept of "peace" is misunderstood and the word "peace" is much abused and misapplied. Kissinger and Tho seemed to understand that, the Nobel Committee never did. |

The war was continuing because, as had been the case all along, the North was trying to take over the South, peace accord or no peace accord. I interpret Kissinger's "humility" as "skepticism" WRT his acceptance of the prize. The Nobel "Peace" Prize should be given only to nuns and doctors and such, not to politicians or diplomats. |

Your post, OTOH, was a diatribe. Nope! My post was factual information, not addressed to you, but you deemed it important to comment because you cannot stand not to do so. I realize that more than 10 words is beyond your comfort level, and that you probably cannot comprehend any thoughts that don't conveniently fit on a bumper sticker. Now go back to your sniping and trolling. |
