Solar absorption lines
Hi all,
What process causes absorption lines in solar spectra (when measured from above the Earth's atmosphere)? I've got hold of some of the textbooks that Steve recommended. (& a few others) I'll post back when I've had a good read. Stay tuned. Scott.
