I've put him into my trollfile several times only to find he has morphed into a new munged address, so I I found that, too, but just making the sender criteria "Davoud" solves that problem. If Outlook Express doesn't let you set such a filter, that would be a good incentive to switch to Mozilla, Thunderbird or the like. Thanks. I tried "Davoud" but it didn't work. As you say, I may need a software change. Clear Skies Chuck Taylor Do you observe the moon? Try http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lunar-observing/ Are you interested in understanding optics? With all due respect, sir, when I review your past posts, I see more discussion of OT issues than anything else. People scorn the one called "Min" on a regular basis, for example, but at least he's smart enough to make it difficult (but not impossible) to trace his origin. I'm not saying your unintelligent, but you may not be using the best judgement in this case. Think about the situations you keep encountering, including this example you share here. You're posting OT, controversial issues with *real* contact information and you expect people to look the other way. On the contrary, you *should* be expecting email floods, website excess bandwidth charges, or just about anything else since you're willingly sharing your personal info. My own personal solution, if I happened to be in your situation, would either be to post anonymously if determined to post OT material or just post in an appropriate newsgroup. Otherwise, what else can be expected? My guess is that you're probably retired and bored, just looking for someone to talk to even if that means getting people a little angry. After all, what makes more stimulating conversation: a typical post asking an on-topic question or something that might raise some red flags in peoples' minds? Rather than engage in the latter, why not find a hobby to keep you busy? I realize astronomy is only an occasional occupier at best for many of us, but there are plenty of other things to do.... sports, reading and even just plain net surfing can take up hours. And don't forget about "live" chat like Yahoo chat, AOL, and ICQ (just be sure to protect your computer should you decide to go this route.... viruses are very easy to acquire). If you're retired, golfing can be a wonderful hobby and you might add a few extra years to your life from the exercise. Are you married? If not, check out your local singles clubs or attend church. Then, when you have secured another outlet and the urge strikes to post something you know you shouldn't, you can "click" into a mode that will take you to that hobby or activity you have chosen. The computer will be turned off and you will have saved yourself a lot of potential aggravation. My sense is though is that you actually enjoy "stirring up the pot". In that case, the hobby of boxing might serve nicely.... nothing that I know of, besides running or weight lifting, relieves built up tension better (well... with one exception... the "s" word) Good luck ironing things out, Al Rhoads Priceless....
