Thanks for your support! It appears that the majority of this group is
liberal, and that's okay with me, as "some of my best friends are liberal.":-) Nevertheless, it's okay for one of the liberals to poke fun at Bush or the administration. After all, "Bush Whacking" is good, clean fun and perfectly acceptable among liberals. However, if one has the audacity to poke fun back at the liberals, he is accused of having a low IQ, of being "not funny"...completely without humor, of being KKK material and of being racially slanderous. I really feel sorry for them...what will they do when dubya wins a second term?:-) Al "MrGrytt" wrote in message om... Craig Levine wrote in message . .. The issue isn't one of liberal vs conservative and which one is okay to
poke fun at. The issue is that this is SAA - about Astronomy. The cartoon was about Astronomy. I would love for us to go back to the Moon. But, Bush has no real intention of doing so. It's strictly political. Anybody - the President, a Senator, a liberal - who is going to trash the Hubble (because it has no clear purpose) because he says we should go to the moon (did Bush ever say why exactly we should?) deserves to be lampooned. Again, the original was Astronomy related. Your reply was not. That's why so many posters have reacted strongly to your opinion. Joe In article Al wrote: Thanks for your support!
