This thread is perhaps unique as it described, for the first time and in real time, an astronomical event as it was happening so it is left to close out the thread as polar night sets in while the reflected light of the lunar day/night cycle vanishes but with the Aurora keeping things interesting -

People who are confident in themselves will come to appreciate the reflected light of the lunar day/night cycle within the polar day/night cycle as a kind of intellectual treasure which they can escape to like the countryside or beach. It costs nothing and there are no prizes for coming to understand the symphony of motions but it does let them know they have a cultured view of observations and their meaning.
