yeah but if they look like fleas on a dog, then the footprints will
be really tiny

Bet you'd see this though:

It'd be fun to hack their website, and have this as a picture of the
area around Victoria Crater seen in red light:

Are you talking about the "geysers" that were spotted recently? That'd be
really interesting at that resolution, especially if they can catch one of
them actually "letting one off".

If there are any ancient geysers on Mars, they'd have to be smaller than the
ancient geezer on The Benny Hill Show.

HIROC just released the first shots of Oppurtunity at Victoria from
orbit. Can even see the camera mast shadow. Can't wait to see what
else they find, maybe some old Soviet landers, European, US OT but
fantastic stuff. All the Photos are truly Woo-Woo.............Doc

Those pictures are freakin amazing and soooo cool . . . I am stunned.

Ahem.

"The winter solstice falls on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, Spirit's 923rd sol,
or Martian day, of exploration."

.. . . and ever since then the lighting has been getting slowly better at the
south pole.

T-shirt? T-shirt, T-shirt, T-shirt?

Note the patented weasel words: "if memory serves"

Close but no T-shirt.

But not to worry, we have some fabulous parting gifts.

These do NOT include my "I Corrected Henry's Arithmetic" slide rule,
the "I Was Validated By Henry" handkerchief, or the "I Was Expounded
Upon By Mary" T-shirt. ;-)

Spirit's near the equator, not the polar regions.
Take off your T-shirt...or at least get it wet. :-)
