Is there some media conspiracy to not report this? |

That was less than 20 years ago. http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Las...tion_of_Christ I remember that Christians were upset. I don't remember mass marches, or calls for the death of Martin Scorcese (and of course, unlike the cartoon incident, which merely depicted Mohammed, not necessarily even in an insulting way) that film certainly was blasphemous. There was a single incident of bombing a theater. In France. And in fact churches are being attacked in Gaza and the West Bank now. Including non-Catholic churches. Anything for an excuse, I guess. |

![]() "Herb Schaltegger" I live in the buckle of the Bible belt, I listen to what I hear and pay attention to what I read in the editorial pages of my papers. I've personally heard and read such threats. All that's missing is the massed marches. Tho' the huge evangelical churches around here are quite large enough to hold rallies of their own inside their cavernous halls. OK, so the Christian SPEECH is just as offensive to you as the Islamic MURDERS? I don't have any more time for this irrationality. |

The fact that you can't distinguish between speech and acts is the mindset of a moral midget. If we lose the war, attitudes like yours will be one of the reasons why. Not that there's much of an equivalence in even the speech, of course... |
